British Council Launches Regional 360 Campaign to Promote Educational Excellence

6 September, Riyadh, KSA: The British Council – the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities – marks the launch of Life Lessons, a new regional campaign in the Middle East, aimed at supporting teachers, parents and students to improve the educational outcomes for learners. The campaign includes influencers sharing their exam hacks for students when preparing for their back-to-school exams, Q&A sessions for parents to ask for more information on key topics as well as stories from British Council Partner School Alumni to inspire students in their future career paths.

The campaign also features notable celebrity spokespeople, including Jordanian actress and producer Saba Mubarak, Syrian superstar actress Kinda Alloush, and revered Egyptian child and teen psychologist Amina Diab. In the video series the three leading women look back on their school days and emphasise the importance of the British Council’s role in providing teachers, schools, parents, and students with the tools they need to succeed.

The campaign focuses on spotlighting the crucial partnership between the British Council and its Partner Schools across the region. In Saudi Arabia, the British Council works with 70 Partner Schools to deliver examinations for UK international qualifications to over 33,000 students. Moreover, 500 teachers actively engage with training resources. The partnership of the British Council with it’s Partner Schools has always ensured that schools are in the best possible shape to lead internationally recognised and highly regarded UK international school qualifications.

This regional campaign launch is in tandem with a larger global campaign titled “Together We Go Further,” aimed at raising awareness of UK International School Qualifications that are globally recognised for getting the best out of pupils and setting them up to fulfill their potential.

“The British Council has a long history of providing high-quality exams and qualifications that are recognised globally. We believe that everyone has the potential to achieve great things, and our education is a crucial steppingstone in that journey,” said Michael King, Director of Exams and Assessments for KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain. “The mantra of this campaign is that we’re all on the same team. Whether it’s the British Council, its Partner Schools, parents, or awarding bodies, we are all working to get the best out of our students and set them up for success.”

“I’m excited to partner with the British Council on this campaign and to use our platform to encourage students to strive for excellence in their education,” said Saba Mubarak, one of the stars of the Life Lessons campaign. “Whatever the dream might be, with the right mindset and preparation, anyone can achieve success. British Council Partner Schools work to set students on the right path.”

The Life Lessons campaign will be launched across digital and social media platforms and will feature a range of resources and tips for exam success, British Council updates, and more. Stay tuned for the full campaign on the British Council Saudi Arabia’s social media channels.
