In 2023, Careem Food was a culinary staple for over 1.4 million people in the region. A staggering 1.1 million burgers found their way to customers, with one Saudi Arabian customer notably ordering over 1,400 meals, equating to nearly 4 meals per day and spending a total of $28,500.
The year also saw a continued dominance of Al Baik as the preferred choice for food delivery in Saudi Arabia, while Jordanians showed a particular fondness for the Double Arabi Chicken Shawarma from Shawerma 3a Saj.

Quik Groceries achieved a new milestone with 1.76 million orders, boasting the fastest delivery time of just one minute. The service catered to a diverse array of needs, from late-night essentials to substantial purchases like the iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, highlighting the evolving landscape of online grocery shopping.
Careem Pay: Revolutionizing Financial Transactions
Careem Pay facilitated seamless financial transactions for over 770,000 customers, revolutionizing the way people manage money and pay bills. The service’s international remittance feature, particularly to India and Pakistan, gained immense popularity, with the swiftest transfer recorded at a mere 16 seconds.
Careem Rides: Journeying Beyond Boundaries
The ride-hailing aspect of Careem witnessed over 70 million trips, cumulatively covering more than 800 million kilometers – a distance surpassing the span to Jupiter! These journeys ranged from short urban commutes to an astounding 950-kilometer longest trip.
Careem Bike: Pedaling Towards a Greener Future
Careem Bike made a significant debut in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, with nearly 2,000 customers covering almost 60,000 kilometers in its first month.
