Daikin Air Cooled Chillers receive the Emirates Quality Mark for Excellence from ESMA
Daikin, the Japanese global leader, innovator and provider of advanced air conditioning solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications has been granted the Emirates Quality Mark (EQM) for its Air Cooled Chiller Systems.
The (EQM) is a mark of conformity granted to the products that can demonstrate compliance with the relevant UAE National Standards, Regional and/or International Standards and are manufactured by an organization implementing an effective Quality Management System to ensure continuous compliance. The process of achieving the license to use the Emirates Quality Mark involves a comprehensive evaluation of the product as well as the quality system used by the manufacturer in production through testing, inspection.
“We are honored to receive the Emirates Quality Mark & Certificate for the Daikin Air Cooled chillers granted by ESMA for complying with standard UAE.S 5010 – 5: 2014. We will continue to pioneer new technologies and offer the highest quality products to the market. A total of 336 models were certified,” Said Mr. Claudio Capozio, COO, Daikin Applied Europe.
The factory inspection conducted, showed that the Daikin Factory is manufacturing products that comply with the Safety and Energy Efficiency requirements in the UAE. The certification granted to DAIKIN is also an approval that provides confidence to the products by the end user.

Daikin Air Cooled Chiller products will now be labeled with the EQM mark, to attest they comply with the safety and energy efficiency requirements of ESMA. Daikin is one of the first few HVAC brands to get EQM certificate for applied products, reflecting our commitment to comply with all local & regional regulations across our full product range.
