Riyadh, 4 August 2022 — Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia announced the launch of HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2, the new generation of ultimate acoustic flagship True Wireless Sound earbuds that offers a further uplift in consumers’ audio experience. HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 features a unique ‘Ultra-hearing True Sound Dual Driver’ sound system that intelligently coordinates two drivers, making them work in perfect cohesion, for excellent audio performance. It uses a planar diaphragm usually found in high-end earbuds to produce bright and precise treble and overtones, as well as a quad-magnet dynamic driver for medium and lower frequencies to deliver punchier bass. The result is a wide range, from 14Hz to 48kHz[1] to truly present sound details accurately.
Equipped with ‘Triple Adaptive EQ’ technology, HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 can automatically tune audio according to ear canal structure, wearing posture and volume level for personalised sound in real time. The HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 brings advanced active noise cancellation to users. Its ‘Triple Mic ANC System’ boosts the average ANC depth by industry-leading 15%[2] compared to its predecessor, while the ‘Intelligent Dynamic ANC 2.0’ accurately identifies the external sound field environment and selects a suitable noise cancelling mode that eliminates noise for comfortable listening. Even on flights – the Intelligent Dynamic ANC 2.0 eliminates the roaring aircraft engine noises, enabling users to have quiet, peaceful journey with the exclusive aircraft noise cancellation curve.[3]
Pure Voice Call
HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2’s new Pure Voice call noise cancellation technology that brings clear, quiet calls, is based on a 4-Mic Call Noise Cancellation system, combined with a Huawei-exclusive deep neural network (DNN) noise cancellation algorithm. This means the earbuds can accurately pick up human voices while improving noise cancellation. The one making and the one receiving can both experience crystal clear calls. The earbuds eliminate ambient noise for users to hear clearly, and also pick up human voices accurately in noisy environment for the receiver[4].

Redefining the audio connection experience to bring more convenience
HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 offers seamless connection with two devices for automatic call switching. Its dual connection feature works with Huawei all-scenario devices including smartphone, tablet, PC and Watch, as well as with Android, iOS and Windows smart systems.
‘Audio Connection Centre’[8] lets users view the last 10 devices connected to the earbuds for easy switching between multiple devices. It can also be automatically detected on the Super Device screen of Huawei PCs, tablets, phones, or Vision TVs, and easily connected with a simple drag and drop.
Lastly, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 comes in three colourways that are both simple and elegant – Silver Frost and Ceramic White, which are users’ favourite colours, as well as Silver Blue that is new to the FreeBuds family. Compatible with different devices from different operating systems including Android and iOS, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 2 is now available on Huawei’s official website and across select retailers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia priced at 749 SAR in colour variants of Silver Frost, Ceramic White as well as Silver Blue, with a retail offer of a free 6 months HUAWEI Loss Care for FreeBuds coverage worth 200 SAR.

The default settings were used for other features. Actual results may vary depending on the volume, audio source, environmental interference, product features, and usage habits.

[7] IP54 dust- and water-resistance is only applicable to the earbuds themselves, not the charging case. This device is splash, dust, and water resistant in normal conditions. It was tested under controlled laboratory conditions and got an approved rating of IP54 under IEC standard 60529. Splash, dust, and water resistance are not permanent, and the performance may deteriorate due to daily wear-and-tear. Avoid charging the device in damp environments. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty.
