Almarai employs 450 students from the Food Industries Institute

His Excellency Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, recently sponsored the graduation ceremony of 450 trainees from the Institute of Food Industries in Al-Kharj, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Osama bin Abdulaziz Al-Zamil, and Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhey CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Musaed bin Abdullah Al-Madi, governor of Al-Kharj, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Badr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute and CEO of Almarai Company, and CEOs of food sector companies.

“Today, we are proud to graduate 450 trainees, which represents the largest batch in the history of the Institute, which plays a strategic role in providing the food industries with qualified human cadres through an integrated system of training and qualification. To join the production locomotive in various companies and be an important part in supporting the future of the food industry in the Kingdom,” said Abdullah Al-Badr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Food Industries Institute and CEO of Almarai Company.

It is noteworthy that the Institute of Food Industries in Al-Kharj was established in 2011 within the framework of the strategic partnership between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and Almarai Company and with the support of the Human Resources Fund. The number of graduates of the Institute reached 1446 employees on the job.
