stc showcases its digital capabilities at Capacity ME Conference 2022
With the participation of more than 500 global companies
Dubai, 29 March 2022: stc portrays its technology assets and capabilities during the Capacity Middle East 2022 conference which kicks off today in Dubai. The exhibition will embrace global players in the information and technology sector to discuss future collaborative projects and expansion opportunities across operators.
During the conference, stc will expose its Data Centers capabilities across the region throughout the various sessions which will be joined by Eng. Mohammed Alabbadi, Chief Wholesales Officer, stc. Furthermore, the group will spot the light on the transcontinental cable projects and Africa 2 cables projects. The conference will also see the signing of a number of agreements by stc with major telecommunications and technology companies.

It is worth mentioning that stc had announced earlier the establishment of its main digital center, MENA Hub for the Middle East and North Africa region, with an investment of $1 billion, in cooperation with regional and international partners. The project also includes the installation of a number of highly efficient cables to meet the future requirements of cloud services, by investing in an advanced fiber-optic network ensuring continuous service availability, with the aim of enabling growth in the Kingdom’s economy and GDP.
These efforts drag in as a confirmation of the Kingdom’s leadership in the communication and information technology sector across the region as well as the great capabilities that stc possesses as a digital enabler in the Middle East.
