Huawei collaborates with two KSA artists to create stunning new watch face designs for the HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series
Two KSA-based artists used the HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series’ powerful technology to unleash their creativity with a host of stunning watch face designs
September 13th, Riyadh Saudi Arabia:: As smartwatches have grown in popularity so too have their uses and with the HUAWEI WATCH, 3 Series consumers have a wearable device that is ideal for sports, fun for an evening out, and looks elegant in a business environment.
This is made possible thanks to the HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series interchangeable straps and an exciting range of digital dials that can be switched out no matter the occasion. This customizability means users can change out their dials with almost anything including short videos. To enable users to stand out from the crowd, Huawei collaborated with two KSA artists to showcase the power and creativity of the new HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series with specially designed watch faces, making the device the perfect choice to maintain an active lifestyle all year round. The two artists are Rexchouk and Ispood who came up.
“All of my artworks are inspired by pop culture and the concept of parallel realms. I’ve always been fascinated by these themes as they really help me to push my creativity”, said Rexchouk. He added: “I was very excited to work with Huawei on the watch faces and really enjoyed bringing these characters to life. My first idea was inspired by fictional characters with the sun holding a different color palette with one of my own characters called Yunnchoomy. My second design is centered on a female character called 7uni. Both characters are placed in my static desert design”.
“I have a real passion for automatic transparent watches. The way they are crafted, engineered and designed all fascinate me but I also love plants, coffee, and emojis and used them to inspire my first idea. My second design draws heavily from old Badawi carvings (Alsadu) used in poetic houses and reflects their elegance and style”, Ispood commented.
These new designs have been added to an already large collection of watch face options including business, fashion, simplicity, cartoon, and fun, enabling users to pick a style that best suits their needs.
The smartwatch also features interactive and informative watch faces that can display the moon phase in real-time, the moon’s surface, as well as rotating the view 360° and measuring the distance between the moon and the Earth. The smartwatch allows users to view a nightscape panorama or click to get a specific constellation’s information and comes with a new playable pinball watch face for the first time.
Consumers can personalize their watch face with photos or videos such as time-lapse, slow-motion, and screen recordings.
