It’s Hussain Aljassmi’s Week! As we get closer to the birthday of one of the region’s best-selling artists and a voice millions connect with, Spotify has decided to look at how fans are streaming Aljassmi’s music in Saudi Arabia ahead of August 25th.

Jeddah residents cannot seem to get enough of Aljassmi’s music becoming the top city in the country for Aljassmi streaming. In fact, he paid homage to Saudi Arabia through his collaboration earlier this year with renowned Saudi poet and literary icon, HRH Prince Badr Bin Abdul Mohsin for the track Hay Hassot.

Millennials and Gen-Zs across Saudi Arabia have been drawn to Aljassmi’s never-out-of-style releases, with Bel Bont El3a reedh, Ahwak Ya Shebh Al Gomar and Ahebak among his top three most-streamed songs.

The love for Hussain Aljassmi can be felt around the world. His notoriety is evident with Saudi Arabia becoming his third top market worldwide, following the USA and Egypt. Germany and Canada come in 4th and 5th respectively.

Data also shows that Aljassmi fans in KSA listen more often to him during cooler months. This does not come as a surprise as his tender voice invigorates the heart of his fans.
