Dubai based AI-powered esports platform targets 6 million fans

The platform uses AI, Machine Learning, and modern technology to give players and organizations a better experience.

Dubai, UAE, 28 – April 2021: Esports Middle East, the first dedicated non-profit esports organization in MENA and a member of the International Esports Federation, announces the launch of a new AI-powered esports platform: Arab Esports. The revolutionary platform is the first of its kind in the region, which helps automate esports tournaments, with significant improvements over its competitors, including reducing manual efforts that could lead to potential human error and chances of cheating.

Arab Esports is designed with four core pillars in mind: Integrity, Community, History & Scouting. It aims to help the regional esports scene grow by tackling the challenges the sector faces head-on. The AI-powered platform uses Machine Learning to automatically register the results of every match, eliminating human error associated with that. The platform also records snippets and highlights from the games, automatically adding logos of the teams playing, giving players the ability to share clips and content easily across various social media platforms. Using such technology allows players to focus solely on their matches without worrying about recording their match to create highlights.

In addition to supporting players, the same technology can be used to live stream any match and capture highlights that help organizations create trailers, tournament roundups, and other content for their events. These features allow organizers more time to focus on their players and the tournament itself.

“Arab Esports feels like the next natural step for esports in the region.” Says Saeed Sharaf, Creator and Owner of both Esports Middle East and Arab Esports. “For players, these tournaments are considered to be an entry to the pro scene. Such platforms aim to simulate global tournaments by applying various regulations, using different systems, and offering prizes to winners. This motivates new talent to join the scene and helps scouters expand their teams.”

Esports Middle East estimates 6 million potential esports fans in the region, with only 500,000 being discovered and reached by brands and organizations. Arab Esports was created to break into this untapped potential and support the growth of esports in the region. Teams using the platform will have a record of their tournament history, helping players get scouted and recognized more easily.
