Deezer brings listeners “Al Jareema,” the world’s first Arabic true-crime podcast

‘Deezer’s four part binge worthy series shares suspense filled stories of real life killers

Die-hard crime fans can look forward to stories of murder and intrigue with the launch of ‘Al Jareema.’ This is a Deezer original production available exclusively on the platform. It is also the first Arabic-language podcast of its kind that features heart-pounding tales about the Arab world’s most notorious serial killers.

Each episode takes a deep dive into criminals’ lives and minds from the region’s most notorious serial killers. The skillfully narrated podcast features vivid descriptions of the events that took place. It examines killers’ childhoods, their motives, and how they were brought to justice.

The series will shed light on the stories of Egyptian killers Raya and Sakina Bint Hammam, Jordan’s Bilal Musa and his wife Susan Ibrahim, Iranian serial killer Saeed Hanaei, and Egyptian gang-leader ‘Al Tourbini’. After each story, the host sits with a professional psychologist who will discuss these terrible crimes’ thought processes. 

‘Al Jareema’ is produced by the Dubai-based Rising Giants Network (RGN). Since launching in 2020, RGN’s immersive audio experiences have been topping the local podcast charts. The company recently secured the region’s biggest investment in a podcasting network with a $1M deal.
