Lufthansa Launches Nonstop Riyadh–Munich Flights Starting October 2025
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Lufthansa is set to significantly expand its presence in Saudi Arabia with the launch of nonstop flights from Riyadh to Munich starting October 27, 2025. The new service will operate three times a week year-round, complementing Lufthansa’s daily Riyadh–Frankfurt route and increasing the airline’s capacity in Saudi Arabia by nearly 50%.
Flight Schedule and Details
The new route will be served by Lufthansa’s modern Airbus A350-900, offering 293 seats across Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.
- From Riyadh to Munich: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, departing at 6:25 a.m. and arriving in Munich at 10:25 a.m. local time.
- From Munich to Riyadh: Every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, departing at 9:45 p.m. and arriving in Riyadh at 4:50 a.m. the next day.
With just five hours of flight time, passengers will enjoy convenient morning arrivals in Munich, providing seamless connections to Lufthansa’s 130+ global destinations across Europe, America, and Asia.

Economy Class return fares for the Riyadh–Munich route start from SAR 1,495. This addition will join Lufthansa’s existing daily flights from Riyadh and Dammam to Frankfurt, and services operated by other Lufthansa Group carriers including ITA Airways and Eurowings, which together will offer 25 weekly flights to Saudi Arabia in winter 2025/26.
