LG Unveils CLOiD Household Robot at CES 2026 with Advanced AI Assistant Features
LG Electronics will debut its advanced LG CLOiD robot at the Consumer Electronics Show 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6-9, marking a significant step forward in household robotics technology. The CLOiD represents LG’s vision of an “effortless home” where intelligent automation handles daily tasks.
Advanced Robotics Design and Capabilities
The LG CLOiD robot features articulated arms powered by motors that provide seven degrees of movement per arm, enabling natural-like motions for household tasks. Each hand contains five individually controllable fingers, allowing precise manipulation for tasks requiring fine motor control.
An integrated processor in the robot’s head serves as the central brain, combining a display screen, speaker, camera, and sensor array. This configuration enables expressive communication, natural voice interaction, and intelligent navigation throughout the home environment.
Emotional Intelligence and Adaptive Learning
LG’s emotional intelligence technology allows CLOiD to sense and interact smoothly with its surroundings. The robot continuously improves its responses through ongoing learning and repeated interactions, providing increasingly personalized support for daily tasks.
