LG CES 2026 Unveils AI-Powered Home Robot and Revolutionary Smart Living Solutions

LG CES 2026 showcased groundbreaking innovations under the theme “Innovation in tune with you,” revealing how artificial intelligence is transforming homes, vehicles, and lifestyle spaces. The electronics giant presented its vision of Affectionate Intelligence, where technology doesn’t just respond to commands but anticipates needs with genuine care and understanding.

At the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 6-9, LG demonstrated its comprehensive AI ecosystem built on a Sense-Think-Act operating model. This approach enables devices to perceive their environment, process information intelligently, and execute actions that genuinely improve daily life across multiple domains.

LG CLOiD Home Robot Takes Center Stage

The star of LG CES 2026 was undoubtedly the LG CLOiD home robot, designed specifically for household environments with safety and reliability as core principles. This advanced AI robot performed live demonstrations across three critical household scenarios: personalized meal planning in the kitchen for four-person households, wellness monitoring and assistance for active seniors in the living room, and automated clothing management in the laundry room.

What sets CLOiD apart is its remarkable physical manipulation capabilities, including finger-level dexterity and full-arm movement. The robot seamlessly integrates with LG’s ThinQ AI Home Platform, working alongside enhanced ThinQ UP and ThinQ Care services to create what LG calls the “Zero Labor Home” – an ecosystem where intelligent appliances and AI services synchronize to reduce household burdens.

Revolutionary Display Technology and Entertainment

Visitors were greeted by the stunning “In Tune” Monument, a massive installation featuring 38 LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TVs, each measuring just 9 millimeters thin. These screens appeared to float in midair, synchronized to create one continuous visual canvas that embodied the exhibition’s central message.

The Viewing in Tune zone highlighted LG’s next-generation television technology, including the ultra-slim OLED evo W6 with True Wireless connectivity and Hyper Radiant Color Technology. The flagship OLED evo G6 and Micro RGB evo TVs feature the α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen3 with Dual Super Upscaling, simultaneously processing two types of AI upscaling for unprecedented clarity and immersion.

AI-Powered Mobility Solutions Win Innovation Award

LG’s In-Vehicle Solutions received the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the In-Vehicle Entertainment category. The Ride in Tune zone demonstrated three revolutionary systems: the Mobility Display Solution that transforms windshields into mixed-reality displays, the Automotive Vision Solution using eye-tracking and driver monitoring for adaptive safety, and the In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution enabling seamless content streaming between home and car.

LG SIGNATURE Celebrates 10th Anniversary with AI Evolution

The Mastery in Tune zone, created in partnership with Italian luxury brand Poliform, showcased the 10th-anniversary LG SIGNATURE lineup. The premium refrigerator now incorporates LLM-based conversational AI for natural-language interaction, while the Smart InstaView model uses internal cameras and ThinQ Food technology to identify stored items, suggest recipes, and recommend substitutions. The SIGNATURE Oven Range features Gourmet AI that identifies over 80 dishes and automatically selects optimal cooking settings.

LG also introduced AXIUM, a new brand of robotic actuators combining motors, drives, and reducers into compact modules designed as robotic joints. This technology leverages LG’s extensive experience in appliance motor design to deliver lightweight, high-efficiency, high-torque solutions for the rapidly growing robotics market.

Entertainment and Accessibility Innovations

The Entertainment in Tune zone, developed with Reddit, featured gaming setups showcasing wireless OLED displays and high-refresh-rate panels. The xboom Studio presented audio products developed with will.i.am, including the Stage 501 for live performances and portable speakers like xboom Blast, Mini, and Rock. The Lab featured FYI.RAiDiO, an interactive AI-based radio experience where visitors engage with AI hosts and explore real-time discussions on music, culture, and technology.

Demonstrating its commitment to inclusivity, LG created the “In Tune for Everyone” exhibition space, connecting the company’s ESG vision of Better Life for All. The exhibit featured the Comfort Kit for users of all ages and abilities, plus Easy-to-Read Books designed to help children with developmental disabilities better understand appliance functions.
