LG Electronics Unveils AI in Action Strategy with CLOiD Home Robot and Next-Gen OLED TVs
LG AI in Action represents a transformative approach to artificial intelligence that LG Electronics unveiled at its annual World Premiere event in Las Vegas. The company showcased how its Affectionate Intelligence has evolved into action-oriented AI that actively orchestrates devices, spaces, and services to make everyday life more comfortable, efficient, and intuitive.
At the event held under the theme “Innovation in tune with you,” approximately 1,000 guests including global media, industry experts, and partners witnessed LG’s commitment to customer-centric innovation. The company presented three strategic pillars: device excellence rooted in core technologies, a seamlessly connected ecosystem, and expansion of AI-driven solutions beyond the home to vehicles and commercial spaces.
LG CLOiD: The Home-Specialized AI Robot
The centerpiece of LG AI in Action is LG CLOiD, a revolutionary home-specialized agent designed to reduce both physical and mental labor. This intelligent robot features two arms with five-fingered hands, enabling it to perform household tasks with remarkable precision. LG CLOiD can fold laundry, organize dishes, and manage daily priorities while learning and continuously optimizing the home environment.
The robot’s safety-first structure and mobility-optimized form factor ensure stable operation even when children or pets interact with it unexpectedly. Before users arrive home, LG CLOiD can adjust air conditioning, retrieve workout clothes from the dryer, and suggest alternative plans based on weather forecasts and user routines.
Next-Generation OLED and SIGNATURE Appliances
LG introduced the ultra-slim LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV, measuring just 9 millimeters in thickness. This engineering feat was achieved through meticulous miniaturization of components and complete re-engineering of internal architecture. The TV features Hyper Radiant Color Technology for perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and higher brightness with reduced reflection, plus True Wireless technology making it the thinnest wireless OLED TV available.
The advanced LG SIGNATURE refrigerator showcases conversational AI that understands natural language and provides tailored recommendations. When asked about optimal meat storage methods, the AI suggests and sets the appropriate mode automatically. The refrigerator also features ingredient recognition for personalized recipe recommendations based on contents.
Zero Labor Home Vision
CEO Lyu Jae-cheol explained how LG AI in Action culminates in the company’s Zero Labor Home vision, where intelligent devices become agent appliances operating as a single AI system managing daily tasks on behalf of customers. The goal is to return people’s most valuable resource: time.

LG’s Affectionate Intelligence extends beyond residential spaces to vehicles and commercial facilities. As an Experience Architect, LG transforms vehicles into intelligent, personalized spaces powered by on-device multimodal generative AI platforms. This includes gaze-tracking systems, seamless home-to-vehicle entertainment, and adaptive displays.
The company is also strengthening its role in high-efficiency HVAC cooling for AI data centers, including business-to-government projects in the Middle East and collaborations with companies like GRC for immersion cooling and Flex for data center infrastructure. The LG SIGNATURE Oven Range features Gourmet AI that identifies ingredients and recommends from over 80 curated recipes, transforming everyday cooking into a guided, intuitive experience.
