IFS Partners with Cadillac Formula 1 Team for Historic 2026 Season Debut

IFS Cadillac Formula 1 partnership marks a significant milestone as the industrial software leader announces its strategic alliance with the Cadillac Formula 1® Team ahead of their highly anticipated debut in the 2026 Formula 1 season. The partnership combines precision technology with high-speed motorsport, positioning IFS as the official technology partner for the first new team to enter Formula 1 in over a decade.

IFS Software Powers Cadillac Formula 1 Operations

The IFS Cadillac Formula 1 collaboration extends across multiple operational areas of the team. The phased software rollout began before the team received formal entry confirmation, starting with core financial and procurement capabilities before expanding to include supply chain, production, and quality management systems.

IFS technology ensures critical parts availability through advanced inventory and engineering management capabilities. The software enables real-time decision-making for car design and race operations while streamlining processes to meet Formula 1’s strict cost cap and technical regulations.

By optimizing resources and reducing manual processes through automation, the partnership positions IFS at the center of one of the world’s most data-driven and demanding sports, demonstrating how industrial software can enhance performance under extreme conditions.

Leadership Perspectives on the Partnership

IFS has been instrumental in helping Cadillac Formula 1 Team launch the first new Team to enter Formula 1 for over a decade. We decided to implement IFS early on in our journey – before we even had entry confirmed. It’s helped us rapidly scale our operations by providing tools to establish best practices, manage complexity, and accelerate innovation.

Brand Integration and Future Outlook

Beyond software implementation, the partnership includes comprehensive brand integration across Cadillac Formula 1® Team assets. IFS branding will feature prominently on race cars, driver apparel, and official team merchandise, providing global visibility during the 2026 Formula 1 season.

The Cadillac Formula 1® Team, backed by TWG Motorsports and General Motors, operates from facilities in Fishers, Indiana; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Silverstone, Northamptonshire. With IFS technology supporting their operations, the team is building competitive infrastructure from the ground up for their historic Formula 1 debut in 2026.
