Honor of Kings Launches Year of Tiger Skins and E-Sports Event to Close 2025

The world’s most-played MOBA game announces a major Honor of Kings update featuring Tiger-themed skins and an innovative 5v5v5 e-sports inspired gameplay mode. Starting December 31, players can participate in the Path to E-sports event and compete in the new Tri-National Clash format while unlocking exclusive Year of Tiger character skins.

New E-Sports Competition Features National Team Gameplay

From December 31 at 5 AM GMT through February 10 at 5 AM GMT, the Path to E-sports event allows players to represent their countries in competitive matches. The event introduces the Tri-National Clash mode where players form three teams of five members each, with AI matching ensuring each team represents a different country.

Teams earn points by defeating enemy heroes or destroying towers, with victory conditions requiring either maintaining first place for 90 seconds or destroying opposition towers once the 100-point threshold triggers the final battle phase.

Tiger-Themed Character Skins Available Through January

The Honor of Kings update includes five exclusive Year of Tiger skins available for direct purchase from December 31 to January 30. Premium skins for Pei (Fighting Tiger) and Luban No.7 (Scorching Tiger) cost 1,350 tokens during early access pricing from December 31 to January 6, increasing to 1,688 tokens afterward.

  • Luban No.7 – Scorching Tiger: Same pricing structure as Pei
  • Lian Po – Guarding Tiger: 710 tokens (Jan 1-7), 888 tokens (Jan 8-30)
