Goodyear Supports Team De Rooy for Dakar Rally 2025 in Saudi Arabia

Goodyear continues its partnership with Team De Rooy for the upcoming Dakar Rally 2025, serving as the official tire supplier for the demanding motorsport event in Saudi Arabia. The collaboration equips the Dutch team with high-performance Goodyear OFFROAD tires and advanced Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for the challenging rally stages.

Dakar Rally 2025 Route and Challenges

The Dakar Rally 2025 runs from January 3 to January 17, covering nearly 8,000 kilometers with over 5,000 kilometers of competitive stages. The race starts in Bisha and finishes in Shubaytah, featuring increased difficulty compared to previous editions.

This edition introduces an early 48-hour chrono stage that flows into the marathon stage, setting a challenging pace from the beginning. During the second week, competitors will navigate the demanding dunes of the Empty Quarter, with over 45% of the course on separate tracks for different vehicle classes.

Goodyear OFFROAD Technology for Extreme Conditions

Team De Rooy relies on Goodyear OFFROAD tires designed for durability and reliable traction across various terrains. These tires handle heat buildup at high speeds and provide consistent performance on sand, rocks, and steep slopes throughout the rally stages.

  • Advanced heat resistance for high-speed performance
  • Reliable traction across sand, rocks, and slopes
  • Real-time tire pressure and temperature monitoring
  • Quick adjustment capabilities during race conditions

Goodyear’s TPMS offers real-time monitoring of tire pressure and temperature, enabling quick adjustments and helping avoid potential issues that could cause costly downtime during the competition.

Our continued collaboration with Team De Rooy for Dakar 2025 underscores our commitment to supporting motorsport teams in extreme conditions. With Goodyear OFFROAD tires and TPMS, we aim to provide the reliability needed to tackle the rally’s challenges.
