Virgin Mobile KSA launches Direct Carrier Billing Service with Google

Virgin Mobile KSA has announced today the launch of a direct carrier billing service with Google. This new and unique payment method will make it easier for users to purchase mobile apps, games, books, and movies from the Google Play Store by billing purchases to their mobile accounts, postpaid or prepaid.

Virgin Mobile direct carrier billing will be available starting April 2018. Customers will be able to make online purchases on Google Play Store through their mobile accounts without using their credit or debit cards.

Commenting on the launch of this innovative payment method, Mr. Fouad Halawi, the CEO of Virgin Mobile, said: “We are delighted to partner with Google to provide our customers an extremely convenient and reliable payment method. I am certain that this service will be widely welcomed and accepted by our youth audience in particular. We will continue to bring more initiatives that are focused on enhancing customer experiences.”

This initiative from Virgin Mobile KSA is seen as yet another step towards making mobile better. It also reinstates Virgin Mobile KSA’s commitment to ensure customers, particularly the youth, get rewarding experiences when interacting with Virgin.
