Huawei Showcases HUAWEI Mate 10 and HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro at Roadshows across Saudi Arabia

Huawei Consumer Business Group revealed that it’s currently present at a number of roadshows across the kingdom to showcase the capabilities of its newly launched smartphones Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The company held a couple of roadshows in Riyadh City on November 16, 17 and 18 at Granada Mall and on November 23, 24 and 25 at Panorama Mall, whereas in Jeddah City, the roadshows took place on November 30, December 1, and 2 at Red Sea Mall as well as on December 7, 8 and 9 at AlAndalus Mall. It also held other roadshows in the Eastern region on December 14, 15 and 16 at Dhahran Mall, and will hold on December 21, 22 and 23 at AlOthaim Mall.
The two intelligent phones were introduced to visitors to showcase their features and highlight the apps used that are supported by AI, specially the new Kirin 970 chipset, which provides easier user experience in terms of intelligence and response speed. The processor was designed using TSMC’s 10nm process, featuring a 12-core ARM Cortex Mali-G72 GPU with a dedicated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) which is the first of its kind in the world of smartphones as well as a dual ISP for AI-supported camera enhancement.
Furthermore, visitors were also able to check the new dual cameras with a Leica Summilux-H lens, co-engineered by Leica to provide lenses boasting the “world’s largest aperture” of f/1.6. The two cameras come with a 12-megapixel RGB sensor and a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor along with optical image stabilization (OIS) for exposure compensation, focus mode and white balance to enable the user to capture whatever and whoever he/she likes perfectly. Huawei and Leica specialists have cooperated to produce ISP (image signal processor) to provide the user with a more intelligent photography experience. There was also a hands-on to try the Mate 10 Pro camera’s scene and object recognition in real-time feature supported with AI along with the real-time automatic settings to know exactly what it’s looking at from objects, portraits, moving objects, food to landscapes, etc.
The object recognition feature makes it easier to get the best settings for photo taking. As soon as the background is identified, the dual-camera powered by Leica will set the colors, contrast, brightness, and exposure automatically to produce the best possible photo.
There was also some highlight on the HUAWEI Mate 10 series pack a 4000 mAh high-density battery which includes a smart battery management system, powering the device from 1% to 58% in 30 minutes. Additionally, the intelligent phones come with the HUAWEI SuperCharge technology that uses a fast charging solution for 4.5V. This feature is the world’s first fast charging technology to receive TÜV Rheinland Fast-Charge Safety Certification, ensuring safe end-to-end charging. Moreover, Huawei Mate 10 Pro is IP67 certified water and dust resistant.
