Huawei, the world leader in providing ICT solutions, today announced the launch of the second batch of 2017 from Future Leaders, a program that will train Saudi youth, improve their skills and enhance their communication skills. In order to increase the participation of Saudi youth in the labor market and to create equal jobs for the citizens of the country, the program offers 30 trainees in the field of information technology to work in different sectors of the company. The Future Leaders program aims at training and qualifying the distinguished employees as part of the company’s efforts to keep abreast of the rapid developments in the Kingdom and to contribute to meet all future requirements for development by benefiting from the latest ICT solutions. The Saudi youth in this sector to be ready to take their future role in building the Kingdom’s diversified knowledge-based economy and to achieve the ambitious vision of leadership for various aspects of development in the Kingdom, For digitization.
Mr. Denis Zhang, CEO of Huawei Tech Investments Saudi Arabia, said that the company has been keen to provide several initiatives to develop the facility in order to achieve the desired strategy. The Future Leaders program is part of these initiatives and aims at honing the skills and qualifications of the trainees according to the highest standards through the program and obtaining the excellent training to gain knowledge and experience and practical application after graduation. Huawei believes in playing an active role in community service and contributing to Developing the communities in which it operates. The program demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to and loyalty to the Saudi market, especially as the program is in line with the principles and objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
The training program is designed to be a journey with Huawei through an integrated training agenda including human resources, business leadership, IT solutions and communication networks. Through this program, trainees can learn how to build the capacity to succeed in business and improve the requirements of the ability to work daily, and above all, to identify the requirements of the next phase of the digitization era and the needs of the current stage of the digital transformation.
 He added that the program is designed to train trainees to work in specialized jobs. He pointed out that an integrated and scheduled plan has been designed, including theoretical training, on-the-job training inside and outside the Kingdom, and subjecting trainees to continuous assessment at every stage. Practical and experience the work environment in advance, then choose those who have excellent performance during the training and appointment as permanent employees of the company.
The Kingdom’s ICT industry is expected to continue to grow in the coming years and will be a central part of realizing the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030. Huawei is keen to play a vital role in supporting this path by offering this 6-month practical training program to train new Saudi graduates and to fulfill part of its obligations towards the Kingdom’s society. Huawei has empowered graduates of the Future Leaders Program in 2016 and has given them opportunities to fill senior positions in several departments. The graduates of the previous installments of the program have demonstrated high skills and competencies and have proven great success through which they have risen to lead positions in the company.
Huawei is implementing several projects in the Kingdom through more than 1,000 employees and 100 partners. The company has initiated extensive training and high level coordination with these parties in order to enhance the quality of its services and provide the best advanced technology to the Saudi market.
