Huawei celebrates the Joy of Sharing during the Holy Month of Ramadan

Aiming to get closer to its consumers in the Middle East and to help them connect together during Ramadan, Huawei announced its #HowWeIftar social campaign, which celebrates the joy of sharing during the holy month.

The goal of this campaign is to bring people across the region together by asking them to share their Iftar moments with family and friends using the hashtag #HowWeIftar, and to showcase how this moment is being beautifully celebrated in the region from one country to another according to different cultures and traditions. The campaign will run throughout the month of Ramadan; users are invited to share pictures of their Iftar moments on Huawei’s social pages. The most powerful and inspiring content will be eligible for exciting prizes that include the latest Huawei flagships, the HUAWEI P10 or the HUAWEI P10 Plus.

“The month of Ramadan is that time of year when communities come together in the spirit of giving, and celebrate their bonds and traditions. During this month, people in the Middle East are very active on social media; there is an approximately 30% increase of social media usage as families and friends tend to share their special moments with each other. The #HowWeIftar campaign will allow people across the region to connect together, tell their Iftar stories and celebrate the joy of sharing”, said Chris Sun Baigong, Regional Marketing Director at Huawei Middle East and Africa.

In another initiative to reach out to its consumers in the Middle East, Huawei is collaborating with “Aghla Mn Eldahab”, one of the most viewed TV shows during the month of Ramadan. This year, the show will feature interviews with many celebrities from the Arab World. During the show, Huawei will showcase the photographic potential of its HUAWEI P10 Plus by shooting pictures and films with this powerful smartphone. “Aghla Mn Eldahab” will be broadcasted throughout the month of Ramadan on several TV channels across the region.
