The Open Beta 2 continues Nothing’s beta testing process on their latest device, Phone (2). This testing phase allows users to access new improvements, including updates to the Glyph interface, refined following feedback from Open Beta 1.

  • Advanced Glyph Timer: This feature now supports time presets for quick duration settings and can be accessed directly from the lock screen. Additionally, users can open the pop-up window by tapping, a shift from the previous hold-to-open method. The update also introduces new Glyph animations when NFC is in use.
  • Other Significant Improvements: The update brings Predictive Back functionality to all Nothing apps, expands options for the double-press power button gesture, and enhances the reliability of the three-finger swipe gesture.

As with any Open Beta release, it is essential to note that this version is not final and may contain software instabilities.

Users in the Beta program can update their devices via Settings > System > System Update. Registration is available at nothing for those interested in joining the Beta testing. Community.

Nothing also plans to update users on the full rollout of Android 14 for both Phone (1) and Phone (2) devices later.
