YORK is Jeddah International Book Fair’s Cooling and Power Provider
Al Salem Johnson Controls (YORK), a leading provider of heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, security systems, and controls, contributed to the Jeddah International Book Fair by providing an integrated cooling unit set air handlers. YORK was selected among many brands to cool the fair due to its proven track record. Spanning 21,500 square meters, the fair is held under HRH Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Governor of Mecca Region and Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
YORK mobilized its capabilities to operate and maintain an integrated cooling system and power generators at the fair, which welcomes 80,000 visitors per day. To ensure that fairgoers enjoy comfortable climates, YORK set the fair’s indoor temperature at 24 degrees Celsius by installing two-ton cooling units and air handlers, 5,900-kVA power generators cables, and 5,000-metre air hoses.
