Samsung announces early-order for the new Odyssey OLED G9 monitor heralding a new era of work and play
The Odyssey OLED G9’s groundbreaking 49” curved display paves the way for monitors in 2023 and beyond
Dubai, UAE, June 22, 2023: Samsung Gulf Electronics has announced the addition of the new Odyssey OLED G9 model to its monitor lineup in the Gulf, expanding its monitor performance leadership for users in the region. Exclusively available on Samsung.com, users can pre-order the new monitor from June 20th until July 5th.
Early customers on Samsung.com will benefit from a free 6-month subscription from OSN. This is in addition to an AED 1000 discount and 20X Samsung Rewards points. Altogether, customers will get added benefits of up to AED 2425 when pre-ordering the latest monitor.

Odyssey OLED G9: Brighter Whites, Deeper Blacks and Near Infinite Color Contrast
The new monitor features a dual quad-HD 49” 1800R curved display with a 32:9 ratio. Its quantum dot technology OLED lighting is controlled pixel-by-pixel, allowing a near-infinite color contrast ratio.
The OLED screen illuminates each pixel separately and does not rely on a backlight, allowing a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio while delivering true RGB and true black without color filters.
For smooth gameplay, the Odyssey OLED G9 also features a 0.03ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate to eliminate lagging and skipping.
Users can enjoy various over-the-top content using an internet connection without the need for a PC through partner apps such as Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube via Smart Hub.
It is also equipped with Samsung Gaming Hub, an all-in-one game streaming platform that allows gamers to discover and play games in the cloud from partners such as Microsoft Xbox without needing a console or to download games.
