I found a foolproof way to install Google apps on Huawei phones – It’s a gamechanger

I found a foolproof way to install Google apps on Huawei phones – It’s a gamechanger

As a smartphone enthusiast, I have always had a tremendous appreciation for Huawei phones. I loved the amazing photos they clicked, the snappy performance, and, let’s say, everything else about them. I have also witnessed the growth and flourishing of the AppGallery, Huawei’s own app marketplace. The selection of apps has grown massively over the years, and now there is even a simple and straightforward way to install Google services from the AppGallery. What’s more, this new solution is way easier than all the other workarounds that existed before.

Here’s how I install Google apps on my Huawei phone!

All I have to do is head over to the AppGallery, search for the app I want, and install it like I usually do. How does that sound? Yep, it really is that simple. If you are wondering whether you can install all Google apps this way, the answer is almost all of them can be installed this way. Most of the popular Google apps, such as Google Maps, YouTube, and Google Drive, are available on the AppGallery. And once installed, they’ll show up on my home screen without any fuss and work just like any other app. Plus, I can even sign into my Google account on them!

And because I can sign into these apps, I can access all my saved locations from the map. So, whenever I feel like revisiting my favourite restaurant on the weekend, I can navigate there using my Huawei phone.

Another good news is that this method works for other apps that require Google services for some of their features to work. If you use Microsoft Teams on Huawei smartphones, you might already know that the experience wasn’t great. And some apps like Uber that use in-app maps did not work well either. All those problems are solved. You can find and install these apps from the AppGallery, and they will work as well as on any other device. All these are made possible by a third-party app called GBox, which can be downloaded from the AppGallery. This method works on all relatively recent Huawei phones, like Mate50 Pro and nova 10 series, and even those models as old as the Mate30 series. If you want, you can use this app on other Android devices as well.

For me, this means more than just the fact that I can use more of my favourite apps! If you haven’t been living under a rock, then you know that the HUAWEI Mate50 Pro just got released a few weeks ago. With the problem of Google app compatibility solved, now is the time to get hold of it.
