Shell Rotella in the Spotlight with a new Product
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 17 October 2022 – Aljomaih and Shell Lubricating Oil Company (JOSLOC) continues to reinforce its leading status in the global market and satisfy increasing demand among its diverse users. JOSLOC latest effort is a new industrial diesel motor oil, named Shell Rotella HD 25W50, which builds upon the huge success Shell experiences and reinforces customers’ trust in Shell products, while ensuring a good reception of its new offerings.
Shell developed Rotella HD 25W50 for diesel engines used in heavy-duty trucks, buses, agricultural equipment, mining and construction vehicles, among others. It provides an advanced triple-action protection formula that minimizes wear for long engine life, reduces deposit formation to maintain performance, and improves resistance to breakdowns caused by excessive heat.

Shell Rotella HD 25W50 is ideally suited for slow-moving agricultural tractors with a high frequency of start-stop procedures, which stress the engine and increase its temperature. It has also proved especially useful in providing supreme protection for engines of mining equipment that use fuel with a high concentration of Sulphur. Additionally, Rotella HD 25W50 contains active anti-wear additives that prolong engine life and preserve its power and efficiency while limiting its maintenance costs. Most importantly, the new oil provides excellent thermal stability, and its new formula – rich in dispersants – is especially effective in reducing the buildup of sludge and deposits in engines.
