KAFD opens its doors with event series in Al Wadi
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 15th September 2022 – Drawing in families as well as culture and entertainment fans, the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) will be hosting its annual festival in Al Wadi. A weekly programme of events and entertainment kickstarts on 15th September and will run daily from 5pm to midnight.
The weekly calendar includes wellness classes, kids shows, live performances, art installations, rooftop supper clubs and weekend farmers’ markets. The broad and exciting selection of events is designed to appeal to all types of lifestyle enthusiasts: from foodies to families, from culture buffs to wellness warriors, from music lovers to art connoisseurs.
In addition to these weekly events, KAFD will host several distinct programmes for key national and international days including Saudi National Day celebrations, International Coffee Day, Children’s Day, World Diabetes Day, International Day for Disabilities, a World Cup fan zone with match screenings, and a celebration of local and regional travel opportunities for Tourism Day. As the world’s largest platinum LEED-certified sustainable district, KAFD will also celebrate Green Day with a programme featuring sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices.
