Huawei updates HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 with 11th Gen Intel Core Processor, offering new smart productivity experiences
Riyadh-Saudi Arabia – 29 May 2022 – HUAWEI Tech Investment Saudi Arabia launched today the HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 in the local market. The productivity notebook shares the MateBook series’ design, innovation and smart DNA, featuring an 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor, high-speed, high-capacity solid state drive (SSD), and the new and improved HUAWEI Shark fin cooling system to deliver class-leading performance. The rich suite of Huawei Share features offers enhanced all-scenario multi-device experiences that will help users excel in any office scenario. HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 will arrive to markets alongside a range of accessories, including the HUAWEI Backpack, HUAWEI MateDock2 White -F, HUAWEI Bluetooth Mouse Gray, HUAWEI WATCH FIT new Graphit Black Silicone Strap.
HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 inherits the series’ DNA and expresses it in a lightweight, portable and minimalist design that showcases the beauty of simplicity. The 2K FullView Display has an aspect ratio of 3:2, offering an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio for the immersive visual experience that have come to characterise Huawei’s notebooks, as well as supporting multi-touch and gestures to let users control the notebook as they would a smartphone. New thermal design featuring HUAWEI Shark fin fans provides more effective cooling to enable the HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 to fully harness the 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor and deliver smooth, sustained performance. Smart Huawei solutions software such as Huawei Share, Multi-screen Collaboration and PC Manager are offered alongside innovative features including Eye Comfort Mode, Fingerprint Power Button and a pocket-sized power adaptor to support the varied needs different consumers have while working on the go.
Stylishly slim FullView Display
The 13-inch HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 productivity notebook combines premium build quality and minimalist aesthetics in lightweight and portable body. The sleek metal chassis is sandblasted with an advanced process, producing a polished surface that is smooth to the touch. And at just 14.9mm thin[1] and 1.3kg light[2], the notebook easily supports the mobile productivity demands of any consumer.
Employing the series’ signature FullView Display design, HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 has bezels as slim as 4.4mm[3] to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 88 percent[4] for an immersive viewing experience. Setting itself apart from traditional 13-inch notebooks, Huawei’s new notebook offers a 3:2 display that provides superior reading, Internet browsing and coding experiences. Featuring a 2K resolution 2160×1440, a pixel density of 200 pixels per inch (ppi), and support for 100 percent of the sRGB colour space, 1000:1 contrast ratio and peak brightness of 300 nits[5], the 13-inch FullView Display brings high-res images and Blu-ray films to life while providing great colour accuracy for colour sensitive tasks such as image and video editing.
The highly accurate multi-point touchscreen on HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 lets users control the notebook as they would a smartphone, or multiple devices at once with Multi-screen Collaboration. Capturing screenshots is as easy as ever with the Huawei-pioneered Finger Gesture Screenshot[6] feature. The FullView display also supports DC Dimming to eliminate flicker, and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emissions.

HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 offers up to 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-1115G7 processor to deliver powerful performance in a lightweight body. Built on the advanced 10nm SuperFin process, the new processors synergise with dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 16GB and high-speed PCIe solid state drive of 256GB to support fast and stable performance for users to fully express their creativity, whether they are multitasking or handling computation heavy tasks. The powerful thermal system featuring two fans with densely packed S-shaped fan blades and two heat pipes keeps the HUAWEI MateBook cool and quiet, even under high loads.
As demand for performance may vary across the day, HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 includes a simple ‘Fn+P’ keyboard shortcut for toggling between Standard and Performance modes. The versatile in-box 65W USB Type-C power adaptor supports multiple power output standards for not only fast notebook charging, but also HUAWEI SuperCharge[7] when connected to compatible Huawei smartphones. And when needed, Power Off Reverse Charging enables the new 13-inch notebook to act as an emergency power bank for charging other devices.

Multi-screen Collaboration[8] enables cross-device controls and hardware capability sharing, allowing users to make voice and audio calls through the PC, view and edit[9] documents saved in the smartphone storage directly on the notebook, and open up to three smartphone apps at once for better multitasking productivity.
HUAWEI MateBook 13 i3 also features Fingerprint Power Button[10], which combines the functionality of a fingerprint reader and a power button to streamline the Windows login experience. The 2W dual-speaker sound system works in combination with a distortion correction solution to bring immersive surround sound to the audience. The touchpad offers a pleasant control experience while supporting integrated Huawei Share connectivity for users to quickly activate Multi-screen Collaboration.

The HUAWEI Matebook 13 i3 is available now in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at a price of 2599 SAR from Huawei’s online platforms. Retail offers for the first 10 orders only are available every day from 00:00 worth 942 SAR made up of a HUAWEI Backpack, Bluetooth Mouse, MateDock 2, and HUAWEI WATCH FIT.
