Nissan Saudi Arabia & Petromin Nissan Sign an Agreement with the Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute
JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (November 18, 2021) – Nissan Saudi Arabia and its authorized retail dealer in the Kingdom, Petromin Nissan, signed an agreement on Wednesday with SJAHI (Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute), to train young local talents who are interested in the automotive industry, particularly in automotive technology and vehicle maintenance. The event took place in SJAHI’s facility in Jeddah with the presence of the Nissan KSA and Petromin Nissan team as well as some members of the press. Both companies signed an agreement to support SJAHI’s purpose by awarding scholarships to young Saudi high school graduates to provide them with job-oriented technical training, following the standard set by the Japanese manufacturers.
“With Saudi Arabia’s fast growing automotive industry, there is a constant demand for fresh, well-trained and tech-savvy local talents who can potentially shape a knowledge-based economy in the Kingdom. Through this agreement with the SJAHI, Nissan KSA reasserts its commitment to the goals of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision by uplifting the Saudi automotive sector through creating jobs for Saudis and empowering the local talents by providing them with a high-level practical training to enable them to confidently work at Petromin Nissan’s vehicle maintenance and service centers”, commented Bader El Houssami, Nissan Saudi Arabia Managing Director.
Managing Director at Petromin Nissan, Terence Byrne, also mentioned, “We are pleased to be partnering up with the Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute alongside our partner in success, Nissan Saudi Arabia, to train and educate the next generation of Saudi leaders in the automotive industry to effectively contribute to the future of the Kingdom and drive economic growth and development.”
The Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute also expressed their delight at the signing ceremony with Nissan KSA and Petromin Nissan, where Salem Bin Hassan Al-Asmari, Managing Director at SJAHI said, “We are proud to have Nissan Saudi Arabia and Petromin Nissan, as our new partners.
