Najm launches awareness campaign targeting its staff and neighbors

In parallel with National Road Safety Day,

Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 14 November 2021:

In line with its active efforts seeking to raise awareness on traffic safety in Saudi Arabia, and in observance of the National Day for Road Safety which falls on the 13th of October, Najm for Insurance Services organized a new initiative targeting its employees and neighbors under “Najm Al Kheer” CSR program.

The initiative encompassed a series of interactive sessions on road safety presented by a team of safety experts from Najm to the company’s general management employees. Najm also highlighted tire safety as a foremost priority for traffic safety, by offering tire safety tests with technical reports for around 600 vehicles owned by employees and their neighbors in cooperation with the world-renowned tire manufacturer “Continental” and under supervision from the safety team at Najm.

National Road Safety Day is an initiative by the National Road Safety Center which falls under the mandate of the Ministry of Transport, and aims to achieve the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve road safety infrastructure and reduce traffic accidents to save lives and property.

All relevant entities are cooperating together to position the Kingdom within the list of top 20 countries with the lowest road fatality rate around the world by 2030. Najm plays a significant role in this regard through its implementation and participation in several social and charitable initiatives and awareness campaigns that target motorists and aim to raise awareness on road and traffic safety and reduce congestion, most notably its “Don’t Stop Their Life” and “Amn Taslam” campaigns that successfully raised social awareness and instilled a culture of road safety and traffic insurance. Najm is consistently preparing to launch a series of new initiatives in this regard over the coming phase in cooperation with relevant entities.
