Chery Automobile and Sanabel Modern Motors jointly conducted adaptive tests in Saudi Arabia On more than 50 thousand Kilometers
KSA- September 19th 2021 – Chery Automotive and Sanabel Modern Motors, a Mohamed Yousef Naghi Company, Group recently conducted product adaptability tests in Saudi Arabia, where chery’s new generation of Pro models and EXEED models were tested to improve Chery car’s localization adaptability in Saudi Arabia.
The test lasted 2 months and covered more than 50,000 km of different types of roads and environments, including deserts, coasts, mountains, and other cities such as Jeddah, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Dammam and Mecca. The team conducted in-depth tests of Chery models in terms of high temperature weather, durability, safety, ADAS intelligent driving assistance, etc.
The test focuses on the validation of ADAS function, covering urban areas, suburbs and intercity complex road conditions, the realization of the system’s zero-error trigger, in reducing the workload of drivers at the same time, greatly improve driving safety.
For example，the function Automatic Emergency Braking System (AEB) works in conjunction with the Front Collision Warning System (FCW) to alert the driver when the vehicle is about to hit a vehicle or pedestrian in front of it, and to take measures to assist the driver in avoiding or mitigating the collision.
TJA Traffic Congestion Assist and ICA Integrated Cruise Assist provide driver assistance in monotonous driving environments or traffic jams. The LKA Lane Center Hold Assist system is an auxiliary driver who controls the vehicle’s driving in the middle of the lane at high speed.
It is reported that Chery’s recently launched Tiggo8 Pro in Saudi Arabia officially equipped with ADAS intelligent driver assistance system, and soon other models will be equipped with this latest technology, to reflect the strategic deployment of technology Chery, improve the Saudi consumer experience.
