Lucid Motors CEO drives Lucid Air on the streets of NYC #lucidair

Today, the upstart Electric Vehicle brand backed by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, Lucid Motors releases a new video featuring CEO, Peter Rawlinson driving a release candidate pre-production version of the Lucid Air Grand Touring Edition through New York City. The drive preludes the upcoming grand opening of Lucid’s first NYC Studio in the Meatpacking District.

In the feature, Peter gets his first behind-the-wheel experience in an urban environment, through stop-and-go traffic and onto some of the city’s cobbled streets. He provides a running commentary on what he’s feeling and experiencing in terms of the car’s ride, handling, ergonomics, and overall comfort level. Furthermore, he provides his first public feedback on the Lucid Air’s user experience.
