JAGGAER celebrates 25-year milestone with refreshed brand to support Middle East businesses

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 16, 2020: JAGGAER, the world’s largest independent spend management company, is celebrating 25 years of business with a newly refreshed brand, the launch of an upgraded website, and a series of webinars to support business in the Middle East and the rest of the world.

The company has grown from a North Carolina start-up to a global leader in spend management and procurement software, now saving customers millions of dollars annually. JAGGAER now has offices around the globe including the company’s Middle East headquarters in Dubai.

“We have refreshed our corporate identity and website to reflect our core values of passion, humility, empathy, transparency and accountability, and our 25-year tradition of customer-centric innovation and excellence in service delivery,” said JAGGAER CEO Jim Bureau.

“The new look reflects the fact that JAGGAER is a friendly, open and approachable company with a diverse employee base. We are one of the largest companies in North Carolina, with international reach and significance,” he added.

JAGGAER, which started operation in the Middle East in 2011 in a joint venture with Dubai World, now has over 70 customers in the region connected to a global network of 4 million suppliers in 70 countries.

As part of the celebrations, the organisation will be hosting a series of webinars to help Middle East businesses develop their supplier strategies and omit the risks posed by pandemics, natural disasters, political unrest, and economic uncertainty.

A host of experts from Gartner, Deloitte, Forrester, The Hackett Group and Spend Matters have already provided their insights on supplier diversity and risk. The final webinar, Supplier Diversity for Procurement Innovation, set to take place on Tuesday 1 December, will feature representatives from Papa John’s and Blue Cross amongst others.

“Diversity and inclusion are rising to the top of corporate agendas, creating more urgency around supplier diversity, ethics, and human equity. COVID-19 continues to impact our communities, disrupt supply chains, and increase financial pressure on organizations everywhere

“Procurement and supply chain leaders are increasingly being called on to meet the needs of society, and strategically guide their businesses through turbulent market conditions, and that is where JAGGAER can provide expertise,” added Bureau.

Following a series of contract wins in the Middle East region, the company will be increasing its headcount and expanding operations throughout the Middle East with the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman driving demand.

Thomas Dieringer, President for the Middle East and Africa, JAGGAER said: “The Middle East is, and will continue to be, a key market of growth for us. We have an incredibly talented team at the very core of our success and who continue to provide the expertise to our clients and deliver solutions that provide the most intelligent, transparent and intuitive source to pay digital transformation in the market. We are committed to our growth in the region and to our next milestone.”
