Today, Microsoft announced they will host a global livestream on November 10th to honor the launch of the new Xbox generation. We invite you, players of all identities and backgrounds, console generations and devices, skill sets and tastes, to celebrate, connect, and play together. We invite you to grab your device of choice and play alongside Team Xbox, your favorite creators, and our partners, right from your homes around the world. We invite you to take a glimpse behind-the-scenes of the next generation of games, hear the stories of people who make them, and play along with them. Think of our livestream celebration as a companion to your gaming plans for the day. Microsoft to congratulate and celebrate our amazing partners at AMD on the announcement of the Radeon RX 6000 series of RDNA 2 GPUs, Microsoft detailed how our long-term relationship with AMD, beginning with Xbox 360, is at the heart of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
With the launch of Xbox Series X|S on November 10th, we are ushering in the next generation of gaming delivering a level of power, performance and compatibility never before seen in console gaming. Powered by AMD’s latest Zen 2 and RDNA 2 architectures, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are the only next-generation consoles with full hardware support for all the RDNA 2 capabilities AMD showcased today, such as DirectX Raytracing, Mesh Shaders, Sampler Feedback and Variable Rate Shading.
Xbox Series X|S and the new Radeon RX 6000 series of GPUs enable developers to deliver transformative gaming experiences across both console and PC. We are extremely proud of the results gamers will see at launch with titles including “Gears 5,” “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” “Dirt 5” and many more.
