Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia launched its new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) active noise cancelling earphones, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i, for Pre-order in Saudi Arabia. The new earphone packs intelligent noise cancellation features, Triple-mic call noise reduction and more features each aimed at bringing the best audio experience to the user. Thanks to its advanced noise cancellation capabilities and call noise reduction features, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i is capable of providing users with a next level audio experience, complete with immersive audio and calling features, in addition to an in-ear design and long battery life. Despite its small body construction, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i actually packs in complex technologies that take noise cancellation to the next level and captures user’s voice clearly and accurately. The HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i is equipped with three microphones. Once active noise cancellation is activated, the two high sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio microphones (one external and one internal) work together to cancel out ambient noise or environmental interference. The dual microphone system enables a more comprehensive noise simulation and a more accurate noise acquisition to offer extensive noise cancellation.
One of the main contributors to the noise cancellation features is actually the location of the two microphones, which have undergone strict noise cancellation tests, ensuring it captures more details from the noisy environment. The external microphone is placed on the widest area on the exposed surface of the earphones so that the noise cancellation function is not affected by how the user positions the earphones or the users’ ear canal shape. The other microphone is placed inside the earbud right next to the diaphragm which can ensure residual noise can be picked up inside the ear canal.
Huawei has also improved on phone calls with the help of one more mic, totaling up to three mics and introducing the Triple microphone noise cancellation feature. Unlike traditional TWS earphones that opt for noise cancellation with dual microphones, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i’s triple microphone setup enhances both the audio as well as the user’s voice for better call quality. The two external mics use beamforming technology to pick up the user’s voice directionally and filters out surrounding noise, while the internal mic simultaneously picks up the user’s voice from inside. These vocal signals from multiple channels are then fused together and transmitted to the other side of the call, allowing for crystal clear audio with accurate reproduction of every word.
The noise cancellation experience is improved upon even further with the 10nm custom dynamic driver built into the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i’s compact body. Thanks to the large size of the dynamic driver, the earphones can generate reverse noise cancellation signals to cancel out external noise, which provides a more optimal noise cancellation effect.
In addition to this, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3i is also quite user friendly, thanks to features like a single long tap for active noise cancellation or a double tap for controlling music and calls, as well as its easy pop up pairing which displays both the earphones and case’s battery status.1 The earphones also provide 3.5 hours of continuous playback on a single charge but when used with the case, can provide up to 14.5 hours of use on a single charge.2
