PwC works to unlock the potential of Saudi talent with the launch of new initiative: “Hemam – Developing Future Saudi Leaders”

PwC announced today the launch of Hemam: Developing Future Saudi Leaders, its latest benefits initiative for Saudi nationals.

Hemam’s main objective is to retain, attract and develop Saudi talent across the Kingdom and ultimately encourage them to reach leadership positions within the firm.

In addition to the various existing development programs (FFtF, My Way, Falcon, etc), benefits for Saudi nationals include an added payment for travel, deferred reimbursements and bonuses to celebrate promotions & career milestones. These benefits are in line with PwC’s mission to develop the Saudi leaders of the future, and is a milestone that proves PwC’s commitment to the Kingdom and its local talent as well as its positive impact to the workforce in the Kingdom’s private sector. As a firm with deep roots in Saudi, having operated in the Kingdom for over 4 decades, Hemam demonstrates PwC’s strong commitment to making a positive impact to Saudi society and its workforce. Today, almost half of our people in Saudi are made up of Saudi nationals.

Hani Ashkar, Middle East Senior Partner says: “We are committed to the growth and sustainability of our region and Saudi Arabia is at the heart of the transformation agenda. We are entering a defining decade, as we support the realisation of Saudi Vision 2030 and build trust in the countries we operate in. Hemam is about more than just a benefits initiative, we are fuelling nationalisation in the Kingdom, enabling our people to be fit for the future and lead balanced lives. For us, this is a key priority for sustained growth and development for such a talent-rich market like the KSA.”

Riyadh Al-Najjar, KSA Country Leader adds: “As a people business, investing in Saudi nationals always has and continues to be a key area of focus for the firm. Without our people, we wouldn’t have been able to thrive, succeed and be part of the Kingdom’s transformational journey. In line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and upcoming National Day, I am proud to launch this exceptional initiative, which is ultimately a celebration of our Saudi talent. We will continue to invest in the Kingdom and in our people and their capabilities to deliver on our purpose. Hemam is one of the many ways in which we strive to contribute to Saudi society by attracting and fostering local talent and empowering them to fully take charge of their growth.”

The initiative is part of PwC’s continuous efforts to contribute to the local economy and to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, reinforcing PwC’s commitment and market leadership as an employer of choice in the private sector for Saudi talent.
