HUAWEI MateBook 13 Brings Crystal Clear Viewing to Consumers

Today, notebook technologies have taken up the mantle from their obsolete cousins the laptop and have become a staple for any business or household. None more so however than the HUAWEI MateBook 13, a 13-inch notebook that has rocked the foundations of what people believed to be possible for notebooks currently in the market.

The HUAWEI Matebook13, which “Huawei Saudi Arabia” had launched recently, sports a jaw dropping 2K display taking bezel design to a new level with an industry-leading screen-to-body ratio of 88 percent. The bezels are only 4.4mm-thick on either side, these thinner bezels enable HUAWEI MateBook 13 to house a bigger display in the compact body to deliver a wider perspective while also offering better portability. Unlike most other 16:9 laptops on the market, the MateBook 13 adopts a 3:2 ratio. This was a deliberate decision made by Huawei—it considers the 3:2 aspect ratio the optimal ratio for productivity. In 3:2 resolutions, productivity software such as Microsoft Office can display more content, allowing users to easily edit and share their work with peers. For instance, when inserting a photo taken on a DSLR camera, a 16:9 display can only display 59 percent of the image, whereas a 3:2 display can show up to 85 percent. In addition, 3:2 displays are ideal for scenarios such as web browsing, photo viewing and watching TV broadcasts.

A high-resolution display is something that consumers always expect in smart devices. Since the first HUAWEI notebook, Huawei has been committed to providing great notebook products equipped with 2K or better displays. The HUAWEI MateBook 13 features a 2K display (2160×1440 at 200ppi) with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and supports 100 percent of RGB color gamut. It can display vivid details for users when viewing HD pictures or playing Blu-Ray discs, and is capable of processing images and videos much more quickly and accurately.

Furthermore, the display on HUAWEI MateBook 13 features industry-leading durability, toughness and scratch resistance. This special reinforced glass material gives users the confidence to take the notebook with them as they go about their daily routines.

With such an awesome display one would worry about sitting in front of their notebooks for too long, and risk hurting or damaging their eyes. To protect consumers eyesight, HUAWEI MateBook 13 adopts an eye comfort technology in their smartphones and tablets, which has been widely applied to most of the company’s products. This technology filters excessive blue light and alleviates eye fatigue. It also packs a compelling brightness adjustment component so that users can view information clearly even under direct sunlight outdoors.
